The City of Federal Heights Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of the City roads, buildings, signs, wet utilities and parks. This includes mowing, tree trimming, building maintenance, street sweeping, snow removal and regular maintenance of water, sewer and storm water systems. There are over 44 lane miles of roads to maintain in Federal Heights in addition to 24 miles of water lines, 18 miles of sewer and 4 miles of storm water lines.
