FOG Inspections

Inspection Requirements
City of Federal Heights inspects the initial installation of a GI and performs regular inspections of the condition and observe the performance of the GI, thereafter.  New GIs are inspected quarterly for the first year and every 6 months, thereafter.

City of Federal Heights will also review maintenance records, which are required to be stored on-site and available for review.

Should a facility have a history of non-compliance, more frequent observations will be performed at the expense of the owner.
