Resident Resources

Welcome to the City of Federal Heights Resident Resources page.  A vibrant and healthy community depends on access to local services and information.  Please take a moment to get to know your City Council Members and we invite you to attend our public meetings held here at City Hall on Tuesday nights beginning at 7:00 p.m.  The community newspaper, The Federal Heights Focus, is also a great source for local information.

Parks and Recreation
The City maintains two local parks: Ruston Park and Messina Park.  Ruston Park is a 13 acre neighborhood park located southwest of the intersection of 100th Avenue and Zuni Street.  Messina Park is a small park located northwest of the intersection of  90th Avenue and Tejon Street.  Federal Heights residents are also members of the Hyland Hills Recreation District and have access to the entire district's facilities.

The Hyland Hills Recreation District offers world-class facilities as Water World - known as America's largest family waterpark, the nationally acclaimed Golf Courses at Hyland Hills, the Ice Centre at the Promenade, located at the Westminster Promenade (a joint endeavor with the City of Westminster), Adventure Golf and Raceway, the Donald E. VanArsdale Gymnastics Center and the MAC, a center for active adult lifestyles (jointly owned with the City of Westminster). The Perl Mack Community Center was voted as the best place to work out by Metro North Newspaper readers.

In addition, Hyland Hills maintains 27 parks with a total of 424 acres, 29 sports fields, 3 community centers, 8 racquetball courts, 15 tennis courts, 3 outdoor swimming pools, a disc golf course, a skate park and batting cages at the Sports Complex.
