The Federal Heights Police Neighborhood Watch Program is a citizen involvement program. Citizens, in cooperation with the Federal Heights Police Department, directly participate in the detection and prevention of crime in their neighborhood.

Citizens involved in the Neighborhood Watch program are trained in how to recognize suspicious or criminal activities and report these activities to the police department.

In short, Neighborhood Watch citizens provide valuable information to their law enforcement agency, which helps, investigate suspicious activities, apprehend criminals and ultimately prevent crime.
