Congratulations to all of the 2010 Nominees and Monthly Winners. There are certainly beautiful, well-maintained yards all around the City of Federal Heights. A Photo Gallery of these properties is below.
City Council initiated this program to recognize our neighbors who go “above and beyond” to make their yards look magnificent. Each month during the summer, City Council will name a “Yard of the Month” in Federal Heights from all eligible nominations.
Winners will receive a yard sign to be displayed during their month of recognition.
The criteria for Yard of the Month selection includes: Single family properties’ total exterior appearance as viewed from the street. General upkeep, tidiness and neatness, pruned, trimmed and shaped foliage, edged and defined lawns, borders, flowerbeds creating an overall visually appealing façade.
