Tree & Shrub Give Away for Federal Heights Residents

The City of Federal Heights is once again sponsoring, in coordination with Hilltop Gardens, a Tree and Shrub Give Away for our residents. The City will also have information booths and equipment displays from the Police and Fire Departments, so bring the whole family down for some fun.
The event will be held at 9660 Federal Blvd. on Saturday, April 24th from 9:00am to Noon (while supplies last). This event is being held to help replace those trees that have been destroyed or damaged by harsh weather conditions, or just to spruce up your yard.
With the assistance of the knowledgeable staff of Hilltop Gardens, the City has purchased drought resistant plants that will thrive in the tough Colorado growing environment. Residents will be able to pick up one free tree or two shrubs, with a bag of compost, per household. You must bring proof of residency (utility bill, driver’s license, etc.) to obtain a tree or shrubs. Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
