On February 8, 2013 the City of Federal Heights honored City Employees for their service longevity to the City.  Members of the City Staff, City Council, Volunteer Committees and Mayor Joyce Thomas were on hand to recognize those who were honored.

The Human Resource Department's mission is to provide a human resources program that carries out City priorities for a comprehensive and equitable City personnel system; to provide a high level of customer service while assisting in the development and maintenance of a high quality workforce; and to be a resource to all levels of the organization in the objective and consistent interpretation and enforcement of applicable city, state and federal employment regulations.
